Colin Parsons – fiction and non-fiction authorColin has written many books in different genres. He loves science fiction, mythical fantasy, modern fantasy, supernatural and steam punk. As a child Colin enjoyed the works of C. S. Lewis – J.R.R. Tolkien and H.G. Wells. These authors gave him inspiration later in life to write his best-selling series Wizards’ Kingdom. The trilogy in general has been praised by teachers and librarians on its length and content with children finding his work enjoyable and flowing. Colin’s other books include: The Curious World of Shelley Vendor series – Crank Tech One: DESTRUCTION and House of Darke. His latest book, D.I.S.C.: Direct-Interface-Shadow-Control, was published in January 2017. The book is aimed at ages 8 years to 80 years – if you enjoy a really good fast-paced adventure… then you’ll love D.I.S.C. Colin has a fascination with time travel and parallel universes, so his stories are always filled with these types of situations. His books are full of fast-paced action with a sprinkling of danger and interesting characters.
Colin’s day starts with a presentation on how he became an author – with plenty of fun and a couple of comedy sketches. During his workshop, the pupils, with direction from Colin, develop characters and explore storylines, looking at plot, description, grammar, spelling, dialogue and pace.
