The Governors of this high achieving and successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated teaching assistant to join a friendly and supportive team at this happy and successful school. We are looking to appoint someone who is resilient and committed, and can work as part of a wider team to become a valued member of our school staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teachers, school learning mentor and other support staff and external professionals, and will demonstrate a flexible approach with the aim of helping all our pupils continue to make progress. The role includes delivering literacy intervention programmes to small groups across the school, leading prayer circle with small groups of children and spending one day per week in our Reception/Year 1 class. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a calm and understanding manner.
